Auerklamm and Piburger See: a leisure tour in the Ötztal Valley

The sunny, warm weather is returning just in time for the weekend — perfect for our next hiking event! 🌞😊
Join us for a scenic spring round tour in the lower Ötztal valley following beautiful forest trails passing the picturesque Auerklamm gorge and Piburger See.

We’ll start in Sautens (bus stop: Ambach im Ötztal – GH Ambachhof) at 10:15. The hike is overall easy, approximately 10 km long, and should take about 3.5 to 4 hours at a relaxed pace.

Public transport:

• Departure: 🚆 REX 1 from Innsbruck Hbf at 9:22, arriving in Ötztal at 9:59. From there, we’ll take bus 320, arriving in Ambach im Ötztal Gh Ambachhof at 10:11.
• Return: Buses and trains back to Innsbruck run every half hour.

🥾 Wear suitable hiking shoes and weather-resistant clothes
🍎🥖Bring drinks and snacks with you.
We can stop for a drink and/or lunch towards the end of the hike in the Restaurant am Piburger See or in Sautens.
