⛰️ Pinnistal Traverse via Elfer (medium/hard hike)
Details
Hello everyone!
Ready for another high-mountain adventure? Then join us this Sunday, the 19th of October!
This time, we’ll explore the stunning Pinnistal Valley, climbing from Neder (966m) up to the Elfer skiing area (1806m) and then down deeper into the valley before heading back. Expect classic Stubaital scenery: rugged peaks, alpine pastures, roaring streams, and multiple cozy huts along the way.⛰️
So, gear up and join us for this challenge!

### 🥾 Difficulty
This hike is rated as medium/hard, mainly due to the 1057m elevation gain and a total distance of around 19 km. The ascent is steady but long, so good fitness and endurance are required. Surefootedness is important on steeper and rocky sections.
Plan for about 6 hours of active hiking time (breaks not included).

### 🌦 Weather
Mild weather is expected for Sunday with no rain forecast. However, mornings have been quite cloudy and cold lately, so it might feel chilly at the start, especially in the valley.
Dress in layers and be ready to adapt as it warms up during the day. Mountain weather can still change quickly, so pack something for wind or light rain, just in case.
