⛰️ Winter Hike to Simmeringalm (1813 m)
Details
Hello everyone!
This Sunday we head to one of the best panoramic huts of the Mieminger Plateau: Simmeringalm 🏔️
This is a proper winter ascent starting from Obsteig, climbing steadily through forest roads and open alpine terrain to a spectacular viewpoint overlooking the entire plateau, the Inn Valley, and surrounding mountain ranges.
The route follows a groomed winter road (also used as a sledding track), making it ideal for winter hiking. If time and conditions allow, we can continue higher to the Wetterkreuz (1942 m) for an even wider panorama.
After lunch at the hut, we descend via the same route and return to Innsbruck by bus.
