ποΈ Gorges, Ruins & Legends: From Reith to the Imperial Grotto π°
Details
Hello everyone!
This Sunday, join us for a varied point-to-point hike from Reith bei Seefeld down to Zirl, combining gorges, historical paths, and constantly changing terrain π±
This route is all about variety: ancient paths, rugged gorge sections, and a strong finale along the Martinswand.
We begin along the Kulturwanderweg, in Reith before descending into the Schlossbachklamm, passing beneath the impressive Karwendelbahn viaduct π
After a scenic transition past the Ruine Fragenstein π° and across the Kalvarienberg Zirl, we enter the more rugged Ehnbachklamm.
To finish, we traverse along the Martinswand to reach the Kaiser-Max-Grotte, a legendary cave linked to Emperor Maximilian I π. A unique final highlight before descending into Zirl.
A diverse hike, shifting between history, nature, and terrain from start to finish.
