If you’re up for another summer high mountain adventure, join us this Sunday (05.07) for a rewarding alpine hike above Oberperfuss, just 35 minutes from Innsbruck.
We’ll start at the second middle station of the Rangger-Köpfl Lift and hike via Rosskogelhütte and Krimpenbachsattel to the Apollontempel at Hundstalsee (2287 m). The German description for this route is “Herrliche, einsame Wanderung zu einem besonderen Ort” – a wonderful and secluded hike to a very special place.
🏔️ Hike Overview

  • Difficulty: Medium, ~15 km, about 5½ hours of walking
  • Terrain: Mostly moderate, with some steep/rocky sections in the upper part of the trail → surefootedness advisable
  • Flexibility: Hike can be shortened at several points for those who don’t want to do the full route.

🚍 Travel Info

  • Bus 461: Departs Innsbruck Hbf (Bussteig L) at 08:20, arrives at Oberperfuss Rangger-Köpfl Talstation at 08:58
  • From there, we’ll take the cable car up to second middle station (section I and II)

🎒 What to Bring

  • 🥾 Sturdy hiking boots and weather-appropriate clothing, sun protection
  • 🍎 Snacks and drinks (bring your own food and water). If time allows, we may sit at Rosskogelhütte for a drink or dessert by the end of the hike

Looking forward to seeing you on Sunday!
