30th Annual National Trail Trek

This is the 30th Annual National Trail Trek (NTT). It is put on by City of Phoenix Parks and Recreation. The hike is the entire National Trail across the South Mountain, starting at Pima Canyon and concluding at San Juan lookout. It is about a 15.5 mile hike with about 2700 feet of gain.

You will have to register with City of Phoenix Parks and Recreation to do this hike.

Spots are very limited (currently 61 left 12-17-2025) and it tends to sell out quickly. The price is $75. For this fee, we will receive transportation from the Activity Complex to the Pima Canyon trail head, lunch at the half way point, and transportation from San Juan lookout back to the Activity Complex. This will be my thirteenth year doing this event.
