Hello friends,
After a long time without meeting, it’s finally happening! On July 28th, we will meet for another fun, informative, and bonding community meetup. This time, we will be hosted by Diversion – a company developing Source Control that is successfully competing with established solutions like Perforce and Git LFS. In the meetup, you will get to know their product and learn about its advantages for anyone interested in developing a game or project as a team.
In this meetup, we will focus on two things – the new features in Engine version 5.6 (and there are many!), and UEFN – the Unreal version that allows you to develop games directly for the Fortnite platform. Why am I dedicating a full talk to this? Because Epic has committed to a full integration with Fortnite, and the road to Unreal 6 will be closely intertwined with tools that will first be developed and launched in UEFN, such as the Scene Graph. I’ve mentioned this integration briefly in different posts in the group, and I think it’s time to give it a broader spotlight for everyone developing and creating with Unreal.
The meetup will take place on July 28th at the Diversion offices in Hashmonaim 115 floor 2. Pizza, beers, and you :)
