Meditation Meetup - TMI Local Chapter (Online)

UPDATE: Date change, we will meet on the 4th Sunday of the Month from now on; BOTH via Zoom AND in person(Send Jase a Meetup message{click on Organizers} to get the exact address, but it is near the Round Rock Montessori school on Sam Bass).

Agenda: We start with introductions, then we choose one or two guided audio meditation tracks from the Monroe Institute that we haven't done in a while and listen to them with headphones(you may also sit between 2 stereo speakers. Then we close with a group discussion.

A few reminders:

PLEASE try to arrive a few minutes early to get yourself settled, say hi, and make sure your headphones are connected and working. We will likely start the meditation at 11:15am and mute everyone so we are not disturbed; the waiting room will be enabled at that time, and I will check for new attendees after the 1st meditation(newcomers will be muted to start, but can participate in the post-meditation). If we have RSVPs, but no attendees to start, the Zoom will be held open until noon at the latest; so please post in the event chat/discussion that you are running late, and we will try to accommodate within reason.

Use your headphones. I highly recommend closed ear and ideally noise-cancelling headphones. I've posted the list of available tracks here for future reference:

There's a good possibility with a group this size that this meeting will run a bit past the scheduled end time, as we want to give everyone a chance to share and participate in discussions. If you have to leave early I understand. Also note that sharing is completely optional and voluntary. As a reminder, please familiarize yourselves with the terms & techniques that will be mentioned in the meditation tracks. These can be found here:

There is no charge for this meeting, but donations are greatly appreciated as it will help cover my costs for the audio CDs, equipment, and extra cables I needed to purchase for our group. Suggested donations are $5-$10.
