What we’re about
Tennessee Wild is on a noble quest: to protect our wild spaces so that they remain a source of joy and vitality for today and for all the generations to come. We're on a mission to not only shine a light on the incredible benefits of wilderness but also to inspire people to take action and care for Tennessee's untamed landscapes.
We do this by organizing exciting outings and ensuring our trails are well-maintained. Our goal is to nurture a community of passionate advocates who will champion the cause of preserving Tennessee's wild and rugged places.
But that's not all. We're also planning some amazing film events that will celebrate these untamed local areas and the incredible individuals they inspire. Join us on this journey to safeguard and celebrate the wild beauty of Tennessee!

Lookout Wild Film Festival 14th annual
Fine Arts Building -- Roland Hayes Auditorium UTC, Vine and Palmetto Street, Chattanooga, TN, USLookout Wild Film Festival (LWFF) 2026 returns to Chattanooga for four days of outdoor adventure and conservation storytelling on the big screen.
Join us at the UTC Fine Arts Center for a curated lineup of films that celebrate wild places and the people they inspire. Expect breathtaking cinematography, meaningful environmental stories, and plenty of conversation with fellow outdoor and film-loving locals.
- Dates: January 15–18, 2026
- Venue: Roland W. Hayes Concert Hall, UTC Fine Arts Center (downtown Chattanooga)
- Format: Multiple film sessions across the weekend (pick a session or go all-in with a pass)
