No Jets T.O. - Save Our Waterfront webinar

Environmental Defence has partnered with NoJetsTO to ensure that Toronto's waterfront remains a place for people, parks, wildlife and homes — not jets.

"Join us on Tuesday, June 16, for a webinar on the potential impacts of jets taking over the Toronto Island Airport — and Toronto’s waterfront — and what we can do to stop it. The federal government has the power to immediately stop the proposed expansion of the Island Airport to accommodate commercial jets. The federal government can just say NO and prioritize Toronto residents’ rights to a clean and safe waterfront — a place to swim, play, connect and call home.

The original No Jets T.O. campaign was formed in 2013 after a proposal to bring jets to the runway of Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport and expand the runway to accomodate them was announced.
