​International Women's Day (IWD) is Women Techmakers' largest annual campaign. It is a global event happening during the months of March and April, taking place in different cities and in different formats across the world.

​This year, we have speakers with backgrounds in VR, VPN technologies and security, data analysts, social media, and mental well-being. They will be covering a wide range of topics, from startup journey to data analysis with big data and job hunting in our current unpredictable market.

​This is a diverse event focusing on showcasing women empowerment! Please join us if you are interested in learning about the technologies in our exciting topics, or if you simply want to meet other amazing, like-minded human beings.

Macy Kuang - VRChat (Client Engineer)

Macy Kuang is not just the producer and host of her own YouTube technology tips and tricks show - CodeToCreate, she is also the Client Engineer at VRChat. Macy became a Google Developer Expert for Wearable since 2014 and is now an IoT Pioneer. In 2016, Macy became the Intel innovator for IoT and Game Development.

AJ Kim - gdly (CEO)
AJ Kim is a global humanitarian, documentary photographer, filmmaker, and social entrepreneur. With years of experience in multicultural and humanitarian field projects dedicated to famine prevention, sustainable development, and education development across Asia, she founded gdly Inc., a Toronto-based social-impact community and consulting firm.

Sophia Su
Sophia, a physics graduate turned tech analyst with a broad industry scope in the field of insight driven analytics, from engineering to financial services, to ecommerce, she has been instrumental in offering innovative solutions to leadership teams, facilitating optimal business decisions backed by the power of big data.
