Special Public Speaking Event at Berlaymont ToastMasters

Would you like to express your ideas more clearly, speak with confidence in front of others, and become a more effective leader? Toastmasters Berlaymont offers a welcoming environment where you can refine your public speaking and leadership abilities in both French and English.

This Tuesday, we are hosting a special session featuring a practical workshop titled “Fast Minds, Smart Speeches.” Led by one of our experienced members, this session will explore techniques for speaking clearly and confidently under pressure—skills that are essential for professional and everyday communication.

When you visit us, you are welcomed as a guest. You will have the opportunity to observe how the session runs, and if you feel ready, you can briefly introduce yourself or try an impromptu speech. At the end of the meeting, you will be invited to share your impressions with the group, offering another chance to speak in front of an encouraging audience.

You are welcome to attend two more sessions as a guest before deciding to join our club.

As a member, you will gain far more than just speaking practice. You will develop leadership and organizational skills by taking on various roles during meetings, or by becoming part of the club’s committee.

These roles rotate yearly, which means there are frequent opportunities to step into positions such as Vice President of Public Relations or Education. Don’t worry, we will provide you with all the tools and guidance you need to succeed.
