In 1999, Catholic Communication Toastmasters was chartered. This club aims to improve our communication skills, and all starts like everything else: dedication and commitment. Club members benefit from diminishing daily bad habits of filler words, building positive vocabularies, and improving pronunciation. Club members can read a story, a poem, and make your own speeches provided by Toastmasters Pathways.

Toastmasters International was founded in October 22, 1924. Toastmasters mission “is to provide a mutually supportive and positive learning environment in which every individual member has the opportunity to develop oral communication and leadership skills, which in turn foster self-confidence and personal growth."

Toastmasters Pathways consists of 11 curriculums (paths) from Vision Communication, Engaging Humor, Team Collaboration, Innovative Planning, Leadership Development and the list goes on. Toastmasters International offers plenty of resources, public speaking tips, podcasts, video library, and speech contests.

Some of our club members are seasonal Toastmasters and some are new, and all have benefited from this unique group helping and supporting English as a Second Language speakers. Our meetings are entertaining, engaging, and people chemistry supporting this learning experience in a safe and supporting environment.

This club is open to all interested parties and we encourage you to come visit us. Let us strive together, as the sky is the limit.

We meet every 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month at 7:00 PM to 8:15 PM PST. Our club is located at Holy Family Catholic Church, South Pasadena, CA. Due to COVID-19, we currently meet online through Skype.
