We’re a laid-back group of students and young professionals who meet weekly to practice public speaking, boost confidence, and grow as communicators—without the pressure.
Whether you’re preparing for a presentation, want to speak with more clarity in everyday life, or just need a midweek confidence boost, you’re welcome here. We keep it casual, supportive, and fun.
đź’¬ What a typical meeting looks like:
• Prepared speeches from members trying out new ideas
• Short, impromptu speeches (Table Topics)
• Kind, constructive feedback that helps you grow
No prior experience needed. No pressure to speak if you’re just visiting. Just show up, enjoy the vibe, and speak when you’re ready.
We meet in person at Dalhousie, with an option to join via Microsoft Teams. If you’re in Halifax and curious about Toastmasters—or just want to get better at expressing your ideas clearly and confidently—this is your place.
