Getting started with anything new is often messy. It doesn’t matter what you are attempting to do, you will probably make a mess before you get results you want.

Speaking before an audience can be messy too—especially if you haven’t developed communication skills. Fear and negativity cause chaos, leading to messy presentations.

If you are going to “start messy”, become a Toastmaster. Going from messy to perfect is a process; one that we practice at every Toastmasters meeting.
