What is Saturday Toastmasters of Arlington?

Are you looking to improve your public speaking or leadership skills? You've come to the right place! Whether it's to get more comfortable in front of a room, become more successful in your career or preparing for a wedding speech, Saturday Toastmasters of Arlington is the perfect place for you.

Toastmasters is an internationally recognized public speaking and leadership group. Saturday Toastmasters of Arlington is one of the chapters (the best :)) and we meet 2nd Saturday remotely and 4th Saturday in-person each month in Arlington, 9:15 to 11:00am.

What to expect?

Our Saturdays meetings are a low-pressure way of stepping out of your comfort zone and improving your public speaking and leadership skills. Everyone in Saturday Toastmasters of Arlington are extremely supportive and we host a comfortable environment for you to grow. During the meeting you can expect listening to prepared speeches from members, listen to evaluations of those speeches (grammar, um/ah counter, timer), and listen/participate in impromptu speeches during a section we call table topics. Participation in impromptu speeches is not required but we encourage guests to take a shot if they are up for it :).

Does it cost money?

Newcomers can attend a few meetings for free to see what we are all about and get comfortable. Members pay a semi-annual fee to be part of Saturday Toastmasters of Arlington.

What to do next?

Just show up and we will help you from there! Each meeting is really fun and a great way to learn new things about being a better speaker and leader. We hope to see you at an upcoming meeting soon!

Please join us on the 2nd Saturday online and 4th Saturday in-person of each month at

Robbins library 700 Massachusetts Ave · Arlington, MA from 9:15 to 11:00 AM. Sometimes we meet in the Community Room on the lower level, sometimes in the Conference Room on the 4th floor. (Please look for signs specifying the meeting locale near the library entrance or elevator, or ask at the front desk.)
