We are all therapists, about to be or on track to be licensed mental health therapists! No life coaches, hypnotherapists or even doctors! (Remember for a broken heart, even the cardiologist is better served by a licensed mental health practitioner)!
Even though we're all therapists, we DON'T always talk all about therapy! We get to talk about, well, our own personal aspirations, our own goings on, and yes, we are here to learn and practice our speaking and leadership skills. These skills translate into, and help, our professional and personal lives.

Need to craft your 30-second pitch at professional or clinical meetings? We're the place! Toastmasters for Mental Health Professionals is A fun and supportive environment to help you do just that.
Our Toastmasters club for Mental Health Professionals meets on the 2nd and 4th Friday of every month at 12:30 pm Pacific Time.
Our meetings are an hour and a half (90 mins). The location of the club is 6627 Valjean Avenue, Van Nuys, CA 91406, AND on Zoom (see our website for registering for meeting information).
When registering for our Zoom location, what happens is that you fill out who you are and all that relevant information, and once you press SEND and submit that information, you will magically get the Zoom link, the meeting ID, the password for our meetings straight to your inbox. Keep that email as it'll have all the information for the next meeting, too.
Note for In-Person attendees!
We require proof of COVID-19 vaccination for in-person attendance. Yes. We verify. We also have you fill out an attestation and release form about Covid. If you're feeling sick, please join us on Zoom!
Costs
Guests visit for free! If you decide to join, and you probably will want to after visiting us just once, the cost of a 6-month membership is about the cost of a tank of gas (if buying gas in the Los Angeles area which at this time of writing is $6.395/gallon per AAA and it looks the same on Gas Buddy).
