Toastmasters International is a nonprofit educational organization that builds confidence and teaches public speaking skills through a worldwide network of clubs that meet online and in person. In a supportive community or corporate environment, members prepare and deliver speeches, respond to impromptu questions, and give and receive constructive feedback. It is through this regular practice and experiential learning that members are empowered to meet personal and professional communication goals.
Founded in 1924, Toastmasters International District 61 has Clubs spread across eastern Ontario, Québec and northern New York State. World wide, the organization has helped thousands of members achieve their goals in more than 14,000 clubs in 150 countries.

Toastmasters International est une organisation éducative à but non lucratif qui développe la confiance en soi et enseigne les techniques d'art oratoire par le biais d'un réseau mondial de clubs qui se réunissent en ligne et en personne. Dans un environnement communautaire ou professionnel favorable, les membres préparent et prononcent des discours, répondent à des questions impromptues et donnent et reçoivent des commentaires constructifs. C'est grâce à cette pratique régulière et à l'apprentissage par l'expérience que les membres sont en mesure d'atteindre leurs objectifs personnels et professionnels en matière de communication.

You can register for the meeting through the Toastmasters Website, and select "Contact/visit club" and choose "Schedule a Visit". We will send you the meeting link. We will not send you the link without this step.

Creativity Plus is a one-of-a-kind Toastmasters club in Ottawa with a focus on creative & impromptu public speaking and leadership development. Our meetings are full of unique short-function roles that give members the chance to think outside the box while practicing their public speaking skills. The club also provides in-depth and encouraging evaluations for the roles to support each member's growth.
