Celebrate America's Birthday with Humor!

Happy July 4th Everyone! Enjoy the holiday, but even after the fireworks and barbecues are a distant memory, one thing will remain that has made America great since way back in 1776, and that is humor! From Will Rogers to Mark Twain to Jerry Seinfeld, humor has helped to heal our country and bring us all together. So, in the spirit of American humor, please visit our Humorous Toastmasters meeting on Wednesday, July 8th, and keep the celebration going!

Our next meeting will take place between 6:30 - 8:00, at Pier 57 (address below), located in Hudson River Park between Little Island and the Chelsea Piers. Please follow the directions for the Seahorse classroom.

Pier 57 is a dynamic and vibrant location, with lots of attractions in addition to Humorous Toastmasters. And if you arrive early, please make sure to visit the Rooftop, which offers spectacular views of the Hudson River.

We are unique among New York Toastmasters clubs in that in addition to the typical Toastmasters meeting segments such as prepared speeches, Table Topics and speech evaluations, we also offer an Improv segment that is a lot of fun and which everyone can participate in. And we recently added a Humor Tip of the Day, which will make you instantly funnier!

Directions:
By Subway, take the A, C, E or L train to 14th Street. The train will leave you off on 8th Avenue. From there, walk west to the West Side Highway and 15th Street,
By Bus, take the M14, M20, or M11 bus to 14th Street and then walk to the West Side Highway.
