18:30-19:30 Workshop “Prepare your Tedex speech” by Irene Anggreeni

An experienced speaker Irene will give her Tedex speech and give a workshop about preparing your first workshop.
Come and get inspired!

Irene’s speech is titled A Therapist/Engineer's Guide to Happiness: Upgrading Your Mental OS.
Having had different careers, first as a software engineer and as a dance/movement therapist, Irene presents a personal story woven in with actionable tools for upgrading how we operate daily (i.e. our mind's operating system). She uses a humorous approach and metaphors from the software world -- that's also what she likes to check if this approach works for the diverse audience.
You’ll get a chance to practice your evaluations skills as well. You will be asked to provide some feedback on the speech afterwards.

After the workshop we will continue with our regular meeting starting from 19:45 till 21:45.

We meet every 1st and 3rd Thursday of every academic month @19:45 - 21:30 at the Spanish Centre located at Korte Lombardstraat 6, 2512 VR Den Haag.
Door is open at 19:30. Please make sure to be there a bit early so as not to interrupt any speech!

Guests are welcome to listen to the prepared speeches and participate in the impromptu sessions. It is a learn at your own pace (with encouragement) so you achieve your personal goals of effective communication. Feel free to join and experience it yourself.
