About us
Welcome to the Southend Toastmasters Interest Group — a new community for people in and around Southend-on-Sea who want to improve their public speaking, communication, confidence, and leadership skills.
We are currently building interest with the goal of chartering a new Toastmasters club in the Southend area.
This is a great opportunity to get involved from the very beginning, help shape the club, and connect with others who are interested in:

Communication for work, business, or everyday life
You do not need any public speaking experience to join. Many people come simply to become more confident speaking in meetings, interviews, social situations, or professional settings.
At this stage, we are gathering interested members and plan to organise informal meetups, online chats, and introductory sessions as the group grows. Once we have enough interest, we aim to officially charter a Toastmasters club serving Southend-on-Sea and the surrounding area.
