Wellington Professional Toastmasters: Communicate with Confidence
Details
Want to become a more confident communicator or leader?
Maybe you want to overcome a fear of public speaking or just meet new people?
If you said yes to any of these, come along to one of our weekly meetings to find out more!
Wellington Professional Toastmasters is a fun and friendly club dedicated to helping people grow their confidence in public speaking, communication, and leadership. Our meetings typically include three sections: prepared speeches, impromptu speaking and evaluations where we learn by giving and receiving supportive feedback.
Guests are warmly welcome to attend a few meetings before deciding if you’d like to join.
We meet every Monday evening at St Peter’s Anglican Church (211 Willis St, Wellington) in the Garden Room (entrance via Ghuznee Street side, through the lawn). We usually have 15–20 people at each meeting.
Time: Please arrive by 5:25 PM for a 5:30 PM start
Finish: Meeting ends at 6:50 PM and we’re out by 7:00 PM
Social: After our last Monday meeting of each month, we head to a local bar for a casual catch-up!
