A Walk For Connection

Walk For Connection
Some of the best conversations of my life have happened on a walk. Something about moving side by side, outside, with no table between you — people tend to say the thing they actually mean.
That's what this is. A couple of hours outside with a small group, walking and talking about things that matter a little more than the weather.
You'll meet a few thoughtful people, follow conversations wherever they go, and — if it's like most of these walks — leave a bit more connected and a bit more alive than when you showed up.
No experience required. No perfect way to do it. Come as you are.
A note from me
Hi, I'm Akaash. I walk most days — it's how I think, how I process my life, how I come back to myself.
I made this event because I wanted a place where people could meet each other for real, without the performance. If that's something you've been wanting too, come walk with me.
What we'll actually do
We'll gather at the trailhead and start with a quick circle — just your name and what brought you here. Nothing to prepare, nothing to impress anyone with.
Then we walk, roughly two hours. You can drift between conversations, talk with different people, and follow whatever's interesting. If a conversation isn't landing, you can always wander over to a different one — no explanation needed.
We'll close with a few minutes back together to share one moment from the walk that stuck with you. Profound or completely ordinary, whatever's true.
That's it. Around two hours, start to finish.
One small practice we can explore together
My favorite moments are when, in conversation, I don't rush to fill every silence or perform the polished version of myself. I've learned that real connection tends to live right at the edge of what feels comfortable — so if you're willing to stay a beat longer than usual in an honest, slightly-awkward moment, that's usually where the good stuff is. You don't have to force anything. I'll be there holding the space the whole way. :-)
The Details
When: Saturdays, 10:30am
Where: Canyon Park Trailhead — 970 Arbor St, Costa Mesa, CA 92627. Park in the lot and meet the group at the trailhead.
How long: about 2 hours
Bring: comfortable shoes, water, weather-appropriate clothing, sun protection if you need it. And a little curiosity.
A couple of things this isn't
This is a connection-first space, not a networking or singles event. Come curious about people, without needing anything from them. Leave the pitch, the agenda, and the business cards at home — and let the walk become whatever it becomes.
I promise you'll leave feeling a little different.
