What we’re about
We would start each session with a 15-45 min spoken topic geared toward anything related to children. (And yes Seniors are children to, they are just children that know everything, and your IQ suddenly dropped Mom and Dad.)
It might be about helping parents with their child’s behavioral problems at home or at school, navigating the school system if your child has special needs, or on any other array of topics from mental health, how to help students with ADHD become successful, taking care of yourself as a parent, teen suicide. (For each event, the topic will be posted.)
We’ll have Q&A. Followed by a parents mix with others with the same issues.
I can guarantee you will walk away more knowledgeable and better prepared to participate and advocate for your child school at school.
Finally, we can have these meetings anywhere. I foresee everything from a coffee talk to a picnic by lake, to an overnight camping trips where we have breakout sessions. We all will work TOGETHER FOR CHILDREN!!!
