Crowdfunding in crypto projects had its rise and fall with ICOs (and various other names), but from the ashes a better engineered solution to investing in businesses more generally has emerged, the Continuous Organisation.

In this talk James Zaki will describe how it works, and what it means for investors, businesses, and communities.

Traditional investment in startups is often with the hope of growing rapidly, then getting acquired or IPO. Finding good early investors can be hard due to the reward/control they seek at that stage, and the risk is great given 90% of startups fail in the first few years.

Token Engineering encourages better development of token contracts, such as token bonding curves that are used in Continuous Organisations. A key point being able to buy/sell at any time, at a price that is a function of supply.
