Hwatu is a traditional Korean card game played with a unique set of cards. In many ways, the gameplay is similar to rummy. However, if rummy is a quiet strategy session, hwatu is more of a party. Expect noise, quick rounds, and a lot of friendly teasing. Having fun is as important as winning!What will Hwatu Night feel like?
Like all Moona Moono events, groups and solos are all welcome to join! Instructors will teach on a rolling basis as guests arrive, table by table. If it’s your first time, we’ll teach you minhwatu, a simple version of the game. Once you’ve mastered minhwatu, we’ll teach you go-stop!ABOUT TOKKITALK
