40 years, 500+ books, and one designer redefining what a “book” even is.

Irma Boom is the graphic designer museums fight over — MoMA, Centre Pompidou, you name it.

This exhibition at MUJI Ginza brings her wildly different creations to Asia for the first time: books small enough to fit in your palm, one as thick as a dictionary, and a custom-developed paper you’ve never seen before.

We’ll wander through together, then grab coffee to talk about what a “book” could actually be.

Come for the books, stay for the conversation.

Fee: ¥1,000 — coffee/drinks at the café are each person’s own expense
