Create a Miniature Garden in Glass〈Indoarium / Ice Block〉
Picaresque Gallery, B1, 2-11-6 Motoazabu, Minato-ku, Tokyo, Japan, Minato City, JPOverview
In this workshop, participants will create a mysterious miniature landscape inside a glass container using 1:50 scale architectural model furniture and preserved flowers — a space that exists somewhere between a garden and a room.Preserved flowers are often used as “trees” in architectural models. In this workshop, we expand that approach by incorporating more floral varieties not typically used in model-making, resulting in a surreal, dreamlike miniature world.
The glass container is shaped like an “ice block,” created using an ice tray mold.
Through this landscape-based interior styling experience, participants will take home a small, mysterious world to display in their own space.Workshop Fee
