Want to speak more Japanese—but feel nervous?

This workshop is designed for people who want to start speaking Japanese in a relaxed, supportive environment.

Even if you know only a few words—or no Japanese at all—you are very welcome.

With only three participants, everyone has plenty of opportunities to speak, ask questions, and build confidence at their own pace.

Our goal is simple:

You'll leave thinking, "I actually spoke Japanese today."

Learn Japanese Through Art

Practice Japanese in a way you can't experience in a classroom.

Spend 80 minutes inside Picaresque Gallery, a contemporary art gallery in Moto-Azabu, where original artworks become the starting point for meaningful conversations.

Instead of memorizing grammar or vocabulary, you'll observe contemporary artworks, share your own thoughts, feelings, and ideas, and discover new ways to express yourself in Japanese.

Rather than aiming for perfect Japanese, we'll help you communicate what you want to say with confidence.

---

Not Another Language Exchange

Many language meetups spend most of the time introducing yourself over and over again.

This workshop is different.

Instead of repeating self-introductions, you'll enjoy guided conversations inspired by contemporary artworks. The artwork naturally gives everyone something to talk about, making conversations easier and more engaging.

Whenever you need help, the facilitator will support you in English and help you express your thoughts in Japanese.
