This is a community of people talking and learning about, creating, developing, and exploring Augmented Reality (AR). We will be diving into the topic from various angles: AR development, play, shared social experiences, investing, finding jobs, how it links up with other emerging technologies such as Virtual Reality (VR), AI, crypto, NFTs,
and more. Augmented reality is currently mostly done through smartphones and tablets, so there will be a large focus on that. However, we will also be delving deeply into the world of AR smart glasses and other wearables.
Whether you are simply interested in learning about new AR experiences, or are an existing or aspiring AR developer, this is the place for you. The major development tools we will be focusing on are: Niantic's Lightship ARDK, Snap's Lens Studio, Meta's Spark AR, Apple's ARKit, Google's ARCore, Unity's AR Foundation (and Unity in general), STYLY, and more.
Together, let's augment Japan to make it an ever happier, more connected, liveable, and healthy place.
