What we’re about

This is a group for anyone who wants to know more about Christianity and to dig deeper into the Christian Scriptures, including the Torah, the Nevi'im, the Ketuvim, the Gospels and the Letters. I started this group to meet others who would like to engage in non-judgmental, respectful and open-minded discussions about the Bible, faith, interpretation, application and community building.

First timers are welcome! Basically, we read the Bible and discuss. We ask wondering questions and we are open-minded about ideas and impressions.

We do try to remind each other of some strategies for reading the Bible as a unified story that leads to Jesus. We follow the Tanakh order of the Hebrew Bible because there's a lot of fruit that comes from reading according to its genre and original order. So the Bible has 5 parts in this scheme: Torah (Teaching), Nevi'im (Prophets), Ketuvim (Writings), Gospels (Good News that Jesus is King) and the Letters.

We hope you can join us so that we can grow together and learn from one another. Shalom!
