What we’re about
Welcome to Tokyo Chess, a community of chess enthusiasts based in Tokyo! Whether you're a grandmaster keen to show off your Botez Gambit or completely new to the game, our meetup is open to players of all levels.
Long term we aim find fun locations indoors and outdoors(!) and build a friendly community with chess at its core.
Tournaments and more serious events will come, but initially we will run chill after work sessions for experienced players (bring a beer!) and workshops for absolute beginners.
Events are run in English, but we speak Japanese and other languages too.
