Beginners are welcome !
No need to bring anything but yourself. We have everything you need jump in on a game. Ages 8 to 80+.
Be ready to play and bring your favorite beverage.

Everyone gets to play. Petanque is a strategy and skill game similar to Molkki. The game goes by the name Boules in France. There is equiment (boules) you can use and we will teach new folks the game.

Overview of game... In pétanque the objective is to score points by having boules closer to the target than the opponent after all boules have been thrown. This is achieved by throwing or rolling boules closer to the small target ball, officially called a jack but known colloquially as a cochonnet, or by hitting the opponents' boules away from the target, while standing inside a circle with both feet on the ground. The team closest to the target ball gets a point for each ball (boule) they have closer than the opposing team.

The group number for this event is limited to assure we have enough equipment.

Meeting at ... 6.30pm on Thursday at Shiinamachi station North Exit. Only 6 minutes away from Ikebukuro station.

Game start ... We will wait few minutes for late people, before heading to the park to play. Specific location will depend on situation at the time. It is easier to go together.

Only RSVP if you are coming to the event.

Fee ... 1000 jpy

Cancellations ... No same day cancellation
Same day cancellations are charged (or removed from the group)
