**Join us at our cozy hobby + coffee workshop with a view on Sumida river!**☕🧶📚
Whether you are an expat or a Japanese local, bring your creative projects/cozy hobbies and get ready to mingle with fellow crafters in a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. Let's knit, draw, sew or just read a good book and have a chat with a cup of coffee!
📍Meeting point: Tully's Coffee Sumida Park inside the large bay-window room
💡 Fee: 500 yens + order a drink separately
14:00-14:30 Let's order a drink, introduce ourselves and the activities we will focus on
14:30-16:00 We work on our projets separately while sharing tips about our crafts and chatting about anything!
16:00-16:30 I will sketch and paint in front of you a quick, beginner-friendly drawing with alcohol markers, explaining the various techniques I'm using. You can bring your own markers and paper and follow along or just watch me, whatever you prefer! PLEASE LET ME KNOW IN THE COMMENTS BELOW IF YOU WANT TO PARTICIPATE.
💡We will speak English and/or lower-intermediate Japanese as needed.
Please make sure:
✅ you arrive 5 minutes before the beginning of the event and let me know if you are going to be late. Out of respect for the members on the waitlist, no show without explanation may get you permanently removed from the group.
✅ you pay the 500 yens fee to the host (even if you don't participate in the sketching demo) and pay for your own drink/food.
✅ you bring your own project and necessary tools. The host doesn't provide any materials for this workshop.
✅ you let me know in the comments below if you want to follow along the alcohol marker demo with your own materials. I will send you a private message with the tools and colors you need to participate.

📅 スケジュール
14:00-14:30 ドリンクを注文し、自己紹介＆今日取り組む活動をシェアしましょう。
14:30-16:00 それぞれのプロジェクトに取り組みながら、お互いにクラフトのコツを共有したり、さまざまなお話をしながら楽しく過ごします。
16:00-16:30 私が皆さんの前でアルコールマーカーを使って、初心者向けの簡単なイラストをスケッチ＆着色します。使っているテクニックもその場で説明しますので、ぜひ参考にしてください。マーカーや紙をお持ちいただければ、一緒に描いていただくこともできますし、見るだけでももちろんOKです。お好きなスタイルでご参加くださいね！
💡 英語または、必要に応じて中級レベルの日本語でお話ししますので、ご安心ください。
