Hey product friends! 🌟 Welcome to another exciting Tokyo Design Community event, where we're partnered with a seasoned AI Product Strategist & UX Mentor Jame Patrick to bring you a UX Design Jam where you'll learn about AI and get hands-on practice in just a few hours! ✨

A design jam is a collaborative workshop focused on rapid problem-solving and idea generation. (It's a hackathon, but for design solutions!)

What You'll Practice 🌿

• Thinking critically about AI's role in product
• Applying the "Jobs To Be Done" (JTBD) framework to AI UX
• Designing from first principles and learning how AI will impact design

😌 Don't Worry About Finding Teammates! No need to stress about team formation – you can freely form your own team in advance, also we’ll help every participant find a team before the event!

Event Flow (3 hours):

1. 13:00 – Intro, design principles for AI
2. 13:15 – Teams, goals, and judging criteria
3. 13:30 – Design Jam begins (90 minutes; teams can ask judges for help)
4. 15:00 – Team presentations & judging
5. 15:30 – Winner Announcement (connect, inspire, and share the joy! 🙌 )

As a seasoned product manager with over a decade of experience in software development, digital transformation, and user-centered design, James is passionate about bridging the gap between AI and real-world usability. Having led enterprise-scale platform launches, and scaled digital products from zero to millions of dollars in revenue, he thrives leading teams to innovate and execute.
