Tokyo Developer Meetup Group ~ NPO Red Look ~

Hi Everyone!
We’re excited to invite you to an international tech meetup in Tokyo!
Foreign developers, Japanese developers — everyone’s welcome! We’ll study, share knowledge, and connect across cultures in a relaxed, friendly space. Bring your own learning materials, coding tasks, or personal projects. You can:

• Share your work with others
• Try a short exercise prepared by the organizers
• Exchange ideas and get inspired by fellow participants

Whether you’re aiming to start your tech career in Japan, already working here, or just curious — join us! Basic Japanese is helpful, but you don’t have to be fluent. What matters most is curiosity and openness.
You’ll also get a chance to hear from engineers about:

• Skills needed to work in Japan and abroad
• What everyday work life is like here
• How they built their careers internationally

Staff will greet you at the entrance and assist with check-in. Please arrive early to settle in.
10:00 - 10:15 Introduction & Announcements
Overview of the event schedule, introductions of organizers, and important notices.
10:15 - 10:45 Icebreaker (Organizer-prepared exercise)
A light activity to get to know each other and feel comfortable before the study session.
10:45 - 12:20 Study Session (Mokumoku Time)
Work individually or in small groups on your own projects, learning goals, or portfolio improvements.
12:20 - 12:45 Short Presentations (LT) & Discussion
Participants can share their work, ideas, or discoveries in short presentations and get feedback.
12:45 - 13:00 Cleanup & Close
Tidy up the venue, exchange final greetings, and share any follow-up information.
