Anyone is welcome and any level of English is OK!
At English Connect you will find a welcoming and casual environment where you can have fun learning from native English speakers. We focus on conversational English and learning everyday phrases that you may not learn in a classroom setting.
We hope that you feel comfortable, make friends, have fun, and improve in your English skills with us. We have a very international group and anyone is welcome to join one of our weekly groups!
We have English Connects in cities across Japan. In Tokyo we also run another event called IQ Cafe, usually right after Tokyo English Connect. Please join us!

もちろんです！ここは学習者のコミュニティであり、互いを尊重するコミュニティです。参加者はさまざまな言語背景を持っているので、分からないことがあっても誰かがきっと助けてくれます。英語に自信がなくても、安心してご参加ください。参加予定の人が少なそうですが...
ご安心ください！毎週、MeetupでRSVPをしていなくても当日参加される方がたくさんいます。実際には、RSVPの人数の2倍以上の参加者が来ることが多いです。遅れて参加してもいいですか？
もちろん大丈夫です！途中参加でもまったく問題ありません。また、もしよければ、20:00から始まる次のイベント「Ideas and Questions Cafe」にもそのまま参加できます。この場所は教会ですか？会社ですか？それともマンションですか？
私たちは複合ビルの地下スペースで集まっています。平日はソフトウェア会社が使用しており、日曜日は教会が使っています。アクセスが少し分かりにくくてすみません！Make new friends and practice English with us every week :D

In Harajuku near Harajuku Station and Meiji-jingumae Station.At Tokyo English Connect you will find a friendly, fun, and welcoming environment where you can meet others and have fun practicing English together. Each meeting we have a new topic and learn new phrases together with an opportunity to ask questions and practice. You do not need to prepare anything beforehand and anyone is welcome.
Join us at our TEC group on Thursday evening! We also host IQ Cafe on Thursdays at 8:00 PM.
