Walking Tour: Tokyo Mosque & Shimokitazawa & Plum Blossom Park

(1) Tokyo Mosque is the largest mosque in Japan. It is an Ottoman-style mosque with a soaring minaret and a decorated dome.

(2) Shimokitazawa is a popular thrift shopping, vintage clothes and live music area. Shimokita ranks among Tokyo’s best spots for wandering through the streets and looking at unique shops.

(3) Hanegi Park is home to over 650 plum blossom trees. Besides giving visitors the chance to appreciate the beauty and fragrance of the plum blossoms, the event also has opportunities traditional Japanese tea ceremonies, amazake tasting, and art and craft activities and food booths.
