日本の三大茶のひとつである狭山茶畑を歩き、
そのバックに広がる広大な森をハイキングします。

茶畑では狭山茶の販売所に立ち寄ります。

ハイキングコースとしては加地丘陵と阿須丘陵という二つの丘陵地帯を超えて、ゴール付近の森の中で狭山茶の新茶をいただくきます。

途中、「トーベ・ヤンソンあけぼの子どもの森公園」に立ち寄りランチ休憩をとる予定です。

この公園は、ムーミンの作者で知られる童話作家トーベ・ヤンソンさんと飯能市の手紙のやりとりで生まれた素敵な公園です。

ルートのアドバイス：

初心者向けのハイキングコースですが、一部は本格的な登山道となっています。
ハイキング用の登山靴をおすすめします。

集合場所と時間：

集合場所は八高線のJR金子駅、集合時間は午前9：00です。
改札口を出たあたりでMeetupと書かれたカードをお探しください。

持ち物：

・ハイキングシューズ（推奨）

・バックパック

・水

・ランチと行動食（おにぎり、サンドイッチ、チョコレートetc...）

・お茶菓子

・ランチ用のシート（地面に敷くため）

・タオル

・トレッキングポール（必要なら）

当日の予定：

金子駅 09: 00→ 狭山茶畑 09: 30 → 桜山展望台 10: 30 → あけぼの子どもの森公園 11: 30 ランチ休憩30分 → 阿須丘陵 13:30 → 飯能駅 15:30

At this day's event, we will walk through the Sayama tea plantation, one of Japan's three major teas, and hike the vast forest behind it.

In the tea fields we stop at a Sayama tea shop.

As a hiking trail, you will cross the two hills of Kaji and Asu hills and drink fresh Sayama tea in the woods near the goal.

On the way, we plan to stop by "Tove Jansson Akebono Children's Forest Park" and take a lunch break.

This park is a wonderful park created by exchanging letters from Hanno City with Tove Jansson, a fairy tale writer known as the creator of Moomin.

Please join us with bringing a sweet that goes well with the new tea!

Walking time: 5 hours
Bathroom: There are 3 locations in Sakurayama Observatory, Akebono Children's Forest Park, and Aso Sports Park.

Meeting place and time:

The meeting place is JR Kaneko Station on the Hachiko Line, and the meeting time is 9:00 am.
Look for the card that says Meetup near the ticket gate.

Route advice:

This is a hiking trail for beginners, but some parts are fully-fledged mountain trails.
We recommend wearing hiking shoes.

・ Lunch and food (rice balls, sandwiches, chocolate etc ...)

・ Lunch sheet (to lay on the ground)

・ Tea confectionery

・ Trekking pole (if necessary)

Kaneko Station 09: 00 → Sayama Tea Field 09:30 → Sakurayama Observatory 10:30 → Akebono Children's Forest Park 11:30 Lunch break 30 minutes → Azu Hills 13:30 → Hanno Station 15:30
