城山かたくりの里～草戸山 | Shiroyama Katakuri no Sato-Kusado-yama

このハイキングの概要：

このイベントは、町田市の「城山かたくりの里」をスタートし、城山湖を経由して草戸山（364m）に登るイベントです。

城山かたくりの里は、神奈川の花の名所100選に選ばれ、カタクリなど約100種類の山野草や花木が植えられた私有地です。

草戸山は高尾山の隣に立つ低山で、高尾山と比較し登山者も少なく、静かなハイキングを楽しむことができます。

城山湖付近には、関東平野を見渡せる展望台もあり、晴れた日は東京スカイツリーや房総半島、日光連山まで見渡す素晴らしい景色を楽しめます。

総距離は約8kmで、高低差は登り304m、下り293mです。

HIKING OVERVIEW:

This event is a hiking event that starts at Shiroyama Katakuri-no-Sato in Machida City, passes through Lake Shiroyama, and then goes to Mt. Kusato (364m) .
Shiroyama Katakuri-no-Sato has been selected as one of Kanagawa's top 100 flower spots, and is a private property where about 100 types of wildflowers and flowering trees, including the Japanese Katakuri, are planted.
Mt. Kusado is a low mountain next to Mt. Takao, and there are fewer climbers than Mt. Takao, so you can enjoy a quiet hike.
There is also an observation deck near Lake Shiroyama that overlooks the Kanto Plain, and on clear days you can enjoy a wonderful view of the Tokyo Sky Tree, the Boso Peninsula, and the Nikko Mountain Range.
The total distance is approximately 8km, and the elevation difference is 304m ascent and 293m as descent.

Meeting place and time:
The meeting place is near the ticket gate of Yokohama Line "Aihara" station, the meeting time is 8:15 am.
Look for a card that says Meetup.
Bus departure time is 8:30.

Route advice:
Please be sure to participate in climbing shoes or hiking shoes, not sneakers.
