Hey everyone, I want to try something a little different this weekend and see if it’s something we can turn into a regular thing.

This is a Sunday night “cinema-style” drop where you can just relax, hit play, and experience a piece of story connected to an indie game universe I’m actively building right now.

No Zoom Call. No in-person meetup. No pressure. Just something you can check out whenever you’ve got time, Sunday night. (Similar to the old Saturday Night Movies back in the 80s ~ 2000s)

🔥 This weekend’s Story Feature : WildFIRE: The Hidden Age of Light
📆 Release Date & Time: 4/12 at 20:00pm

*Additional links in post

This one is focused purely on the story. No tutorials, no breakdowns.
Just the world, the lore, and the atmosphere behind what I’ve been building.

You’ll be stepping into a larger narrative that connects things like:

  • Ancient history
  • Hidden conflicts
  • The origins of a much bigger universe

If you’re into storytelling, worldbuilding, or just want to see how far an indie game project can be pushed creatively, I think you’ll enjoy this.
We may get into more of the “how this is built” side of things in future sessions and other spaces.

For this one, just sit back and experience the story, just like in the old days before streaming services, binge watching, and 24-hour access to shows.

🍿 How it works

  • Watch the video on YouTube (main experience), Twitch (Early Access)
  • If you want more lore and deeper dives, check out the Patreon version
  • I’ll also be working on related content over on Twitch, depending on the week

I’ll drop all the links here.

No need to RSVP unless you want to. Just press play when you’re ready.

đź’¬ After You Watch
If anything stands out to you, I’d like to hear your thoughts.
You can:

  • Post in the Meetup Discussions section
  • Share theories, ideas, or what you think is going on
  • Talk about anything that inspired you for your own projects

Or jump into:

Both are open if you want to go deeper into it.

🧠 Why I’m doing this:

Most indie devs focus only on building the game.
But there’s another layer to it:
building a world people actually care about.
Story, lore, characters, history, community… all of that matters.
That’s what I’ve been working on alongside my own project, and I’ll be sharing pieces of that through these weekly drops.

⚡ For other devs
If you’ve got your own game idea, I’d definitely encourage you to try something like this.
Even a short story or video can:

  • bring your world to life
  • get people interested early
  • start building a fanbase

If you don’t have time to create that kind of content but want to explore it later, feel free to reach out. That’s something I’ve been building out on my side as well.

🔥 Going forward
If people enjoy this, I’ll keep doing these every Sunday night with new story drops.
Totally free. Just something to enjoy, get inspired by, and build momentum as a community.

Hope you enjoy this one.
Press play when you’re ready 🍿
