Would you like to learn traditional Japanese swordsmanship?

The meetup on 16 Dec will focus on an introduction to iaido where we can learn basic sword cuts, how to draw the sword (nukiuchi) and sheathe the sword (noto) and combine them into the first basic kata (kihon 1)

Introductory classes in English (我也會說中文）on Tuesday evenings, teaching Mugai Ryu, a kenjutsu/iaido style founded in 1693 as well as Genko Nito Ryu, a two sword style that has its roots in Yamaguchi-ryu established in 1620.
No previous martial arts experience needed!

Please dress in comfortable work-out clothing.
