Start a group for people interested in hosting TTRPG sessions as DM(dungeon master). And also help each other accomplish that. Get together regularly to learn how to play the game following the official rules, the way it was intended to be played. But also come up with new systems and content. Which is commonly called by the D&D community as homebrew. Like homebrew content and homebrew rules. Also together as a group come up with the economy and other factors of a fictional city, kingdom or universe. To make it more believable and bring it to life.

An idea Iโve had is to have the DM and the players taking notes while playing the game. Then at the end of the session, either having participants writing short stories on their own. Or collaborating together and come up with a short story together, telling the most important events of the game session. Very short stories such as the ones you would find when looking for League of Legends official character biography and stories. Or the short stories you would find when picking up books on The Elder Scrolls game series.

If the group sticks together and finish a whole campaign. Which it seem like it could be extended to months and some extreme cases years. Come up together with a screenplay for a pilot episode of a TV series. Something like what Critical Role accomplished with their first campaign(that was filmed at least) Vox Machina.

To host a session or entire campaign as a DM. To try to have an experience similar to the famous(among D&D fans at least) Critical Role gang campaigns.

Lots of beer and if possible mead. Also enhance the experience with visual cues. Like large printed maps, cards, miniatures, photos and images(maybe videos). As well as background music and ambiance sound. Also make use of a computer using subscription based services like D&D Beyond, map generators/editors(some with fog of war) and even spreadsheets.

We could simply use Peter Jackson movies as reference(also The Rings of Power TV series). But we could also dig deep into J. R. R. Tolkien books and even explore official stuff published after his death by people like his son, Christopher Tolkien.

Perhaps, together as a team, try to come up with a better ending than(if you agree with me) the awful last two seasons of HBOโs โGame of Thronesโ.

A personal favorite of mine. Which if you havenโt read, I totally recommend. And as much as Iโve used to hate(perhaps I still do) hearing people saying โthe book(s) is(are) so much better than the movie(TV series). Well,โฆ
The books are much better. ๐ฌ

With a TTRPG open up discussions such as:

Through Video Games themed TTRPG sessions and campaign. Get together to share our gaming experiences, immerse ourselves in the game story/universe. Play co-op games or have an interactive single player game using tools such as Twitch. Or get together in one place, take turns or assist one player with suggestions. The games I have in mind are โTotal Warโ series(particularly โShogun 2โ and its expansion โFall of The Samuraiโ, also Warhammer(1, 2 and 3)), Elder Scrolls series, Fallout series, Baldurโs Gate, Divinity Original Sin(1 and 2). Also League of Legends and its mobile version Wild Rift.
Something similar with what Critical Role(them again) do through sponsored one episode campaigns promoting games such as Doom Eternal and Elder Scrolls Online.

First of all, they donโt have to be great. Or even good.
Some ideas that I have are:
1 - with a Scott Pilgrim campaign, put together a band with me on bass. Since I donโt know how to play the bass yet(apart from some simple basslines). Then produce songs that a typical band with mediocre musicians would create and play together.
2 - if i participate in a campaign as a player and not as a DM. I want my first character to be a bard. Then while I canโt sing or play the guitar. I could help compose a song or two.

Iโm a Japanese Brazilian guy. Coming from a Japanese family but born and raised in Brazil. Iโm also an English language studies enthusiast and most of the content I consume is in English. Which sometimes makes hard for me to make conversation with people from my community.
I love movies, TV shows and music. Iโm not a big book reader, which it is something Iโm trying to correct. But I am a big fan of short stories. I also like video games. Iโm just really terrible at actually playing them. I love the storytelling aspect of them but I wish I wasnโt such a noob all the time. Iโm particularly bad at fighting games. I have yet to beat a game on any difficult level harder than โNormalโ. With the sole exception of Halo 3, which was also the only game I would do ok online(PVP). As long as I wasnโt matched up against hardcore pro wannabes.
Iโm not really great at socializing. I have terrible(or none) mingling skills. Iโm also not very smart, Iโm super clumsy. Which why you have to be patient if you ever want to collaborate with me. Iโm lazy, a total slob most of the time. But Iโm usually responsible, I donโt normally get late to work or appointments. Iโm not also into backstabbing or backbiting. I like to focus on my own stuff. Instead of trying to feel better by bringing other people down.
Currently Iโm working on a 9 to 5(more like 9 to 9 though)job that I donโt see as a career I would like to have till the ending of my working days. Although Iโm grateful to have a job in beautiful Fukui. I like to have a job in some area concerning English Language learning services. Or make a living writing content.
Also, I speak English as a second language. I didnโt grow up speaking English. And Iโm finding very hard to improve my English with lessons. So I see a lot of potential in TTRPG as a way to challenge English students such as myself. Especially as the DM of a campaign.
I also see great potential on TTRPG as conversation starters, icebreakers and one more reason for people get together and stay in touch.
Note: only the first 4 photos are mine. Iโve bought D&D Essential Kit that comes with a campaign book(Dragon of Icespire Peak), player rulebook, some dices and other stuff. All the rest are like photos Iโve found on Google Images and on Youtube.
