Tokyo Beat Makers - Sound Design Course + Jam Session 🎶

For this session we will start our Sound Design series, in which we will learn how to reproduce drums, bass, leads, pads etc. sounds or create new ones from scratch. Toby will lead this first one, starting from the very basics of sound design using a virtual synth. We'll have a track collab / jam at the end of the session using the sounds.

If you have a laptop please bring it with you - with Ableton and Serum already installed - both are on the Drive with complete install instructions.

Any style is welcome, as long as it connects in some way to electronic music production.

Whether you’re a total beginner or an experienced producer, you’ll feel at home here.

We’ll be using Ableton, MIDI keyboards, and synths but don’t hesitate to bring along any instrument you’d like to jam with.

For new members if you are not very familiar with ableton this is fine, some of us are complete beginners, have a look at a youtube tutorial first to get an overview, and we will try to pair everyone accordingly.
