We are now making the conversation sessions a regular event every Monday and Thursday 21:00-23:00 (Japan standard time).

### WHAT IS THE EVENT ABOUT

This is an online event in which participants get paired 1-on-1 randomly and anonymously to talk for 15-minutes in a voice chat room (no camera, only audio).
The topic is free - work, hobbies, daily life and etc. - just avoid sharing personal, identifiable information.
It is super chill and casual - no need for any experience or preparation, we only ask you to use headphones and microphone, and sit in a quiet environment.

Here is what we expect of participants:
- Fluent in English (dialects, accents OK)
- Speak clearly, use microphone and headphones.
- Make friendly conversation (any topics OK).

Please note: The conversations are recorded and will potentially be used for AI training, which is the reason we will compensate participants. Join only if you are comfortable with this.

### HOW TO JOIN

Here is how to join:
1. Before the event starts, please make an account by signing up on our voice chat website: https://conversation-collector-dusky.vercel.app/rooms (takes appr. 5 minutes)
2. At the start of the event, Monday 11/17 21:00 (JST), please click "join room" and wait to be paired with another participant. (Note: Please sit somewhere quiet and use headphones and microphone)
3. When done with your 15 minute session, you can join your next session and be paired anew.

### HOW YOU GET PAID

We pay $2 USD per. finished 15 minute session.
That means, during the two hours of the event every Monday and Thursday, you can earn up to $16 USD per. event (≈¥2500 JPY).
We have partnered with PayPal. Please check "Payout" to set up your payout-method.

### WHO ARE WE

We are a voice AI startup founded in Tokyo, Japan, and we regularly host voice sessions online, where you get paid to talk to other people. We collect the voice data by audio recording to develop the next-generation AI.
Our focus is spontaneous, natural conversation, so all of our sessions are relaxing and casual, where we also encourage participants to get to know each other and make friends.

### FAQ - Frequently asked questions.

→ I am a bit worried about privacy. What if I say something that could identify me?
We take privacy seriously. If you don’t want your conversation data to be used, you can choose to delete or withhold it. Participation is always under your control.
And don't worry - if you accidentally say something that you don't want recorded, it is possible to delete part of the voice chat by clicking the "Delete last 10 seconds"-button in the chat room. If you have any further issues or worries - feel free to contact us, and we will see what we can do :)

→ I am not located in Japan. Can I still join?
Unfortunately, at the current time, the chatrooms are only available for Japan residents. This is due to delay occurrences in audio if located too far away.
We also do sessions for residents of the US - please click here if you are located in the US.
We are working on expanding to other countries as well, so please stay tuned.

→ I had a great talk session with the other person, but is it possible to stay in touch afterwards?
Yes! We have a new function that lets you add the other person as a friend, where you can also continue to message each other afterwards. You are welcome to add each other on other platforms as well after the session.
