Basic Photojournalism

Unlock the transformative power of telling authentic, impactful stories through your lens in this intensive, free workshop designed for passionate visual communicators.

This session shifts beyond simple camera mechanics to focus on the compelling elements of photojournalism: telling stories with the photography language

Three Main Types of Photographer

  1. Hunter
  2. Fisherman
  3. Farmer.

Please note this is not a lesson on the technical knowledge on how to operate a camera.

I first started out as a part time news photographer in Singapore's Straits Times when I was still a university student and the thinking process of a photojournalist helped me a lot in my future work both as professional photographer and a passion in life.

When you realize what kind of thinking process you have when you take photos, photography could become your own inner self discovery.

Please set aside 600 JPY to buy a drink to sit inside the cafe, or to chip into the rental of a bigger venue if too many people signed up

I used to run a personal photography project sharing seminar in Shanghai before covid, I hope to help more people find their inspiration to start their personal photo project
