Tokyo-Saitama Filmmakers Collective

Tokyo-Saitama Indie Film Collective is a filmmaking community for people who want to make films together in Tokyo and Saitama.

This group is open to both international and Japanese creators, including directors, actors, cinematographers, editors, sound recordists, writers, artists, musicians, and anyone interested in independent film production.

The organizer is an independent filmmaker and visual artist based around Tokyo and Saitama. I mainly work as a director, but I also have solid experience in cinematography, editing, and location sound recording. I also have my own basic filmmaking equipment.

After joining several artist salons and creative gatherings, I realized that many artists and people interested in art are also interested in cinema and filmmaking. However, many of them do not have a team, equipment, or a clear starting point. That is why I wanted to create a group where people with similar creative interests can meet, learn from each other, and make films together.

The goal is not only to talk about films, but also to gradually build small projects together. You do not need to be a professional. Beginners, students, international creators, Japanese creators, and anyone who simply wants to try filmmaking are welcome.

Even without a large budget, I believe we can create interesting works by bringing together our ideas, skills, equipment, and passion. I hope this group can become a friendly and supportive space where people can find film friends and start creating together.

東京・埼玉を中心に、映画制作に興味のある人たちが出会い、一緒に自主映画を作るためのコミュニティです。

監督、俳優、撮影、編集、録音、脚本、美術、音楽など、映画制作に関わることに興味がある方なら、経験の有無を問わず歓迎します。外国人・日本人を問わず、互いに学び合い、協力しながら作品を作っていける場を目指しています。

主催者は、東京・埼玉を中心に活動している映像制作者／アーティストです。普段は主に監督として活動していますが、撮影、編集、現場録音の経験もあり、基本的な撮影機材も持っています。

いくつかのアーティストサロンや創作系の集まりに参加する中で、身の回りには映画や映画制作に興味を持っているアーティスト、またはアートに関心のある人が多いと感じました。一方で、チームや機材がない、何から始めればいいかわからない、という理由でなかなか一歩を踏み出せない人も多いと思います。

だからこそ、同じような創作意識を持つ人たちが集まり、互いに学び合いながら、一緒に作品を作っていける場所があれば、とても価値があり、楽しいことだと思い、このグループを作りました。

このグループでは、映画について話すだけでなく、実際に小さなプロジェクトを少しずつ形にしていきたいと考えています。大きな予算がなくても、それぞれのアイデア、技術、機材、情熱を持ち寄れば、面白い作品は作れるはずです。

初心者、学生、経験者、外国人クリエイター、日本人クリエイター、どなたでも歓迎します。気軽に参加して、映画仲間を見つけてください。
