What we’re about
Tokyo is full of unique and eye-catching stores, overflowing with exciting and fascinating products. However, for foreigners who can’t read or speak Japanese, it can often be difficult to understand the appeal or how to use these products.
That’s why we’re hosting the Tokyo Shopping Meetup in Ginza!
In this meetup, participants can explore interesting products together while the host helps explain Japanese labels and descriptions in an easy-to-understand way. You’ll have the chance to ask questions about the products and share your thoughts with other participants, making shopping a fun and interactive experience.
During the 1.5-hour tour from 11:00 to 12:30, we will visit the following three places:
The food floor (depachika) of Ginza Mitsukoshi (experience Japanese food culture)
Itoya, a specialty stationery store (discover unique Japanese stationery)
Tokyu Hands (a wide variety of creative and practical goods)
We will meet at 11:00 in front of the main entrance of Ginza Mitsukoshi (near the lion statue). The host will be waiting with a pink sign that says "meetup."
