Kamakura Autumn Lunch & Walk 🍂
Details
### Kadoya Italian Lunch • Kamakuragu Shrine • Zuisenji Temple
Let’s spend a beautiful autumn Sunday together in Kamakura!
We’ll meet at Kamakura Station and start with lunch at Kadoya, a charming little Italian restaurant in a renovated traditional Japanese house.
At Kadoya, you can choose whatever you like from the lunch menu — from a casual pasta lunch to a full course meal. Everyone will order and pay for their own food and drinks, so you can choose according to your appetite and budget.
After lunch, we’ll leave the busy central area behind and enjoy a leisurely walk through the quieter side of Kamakura.
Our first stop will be Kamakuragu Shrine, surrounded by greenery in the peaceful Nikaido area.
From there, we’ll continue to Zuisenji Temple, a beautiful and tranquil Zen temple tucked away in the hills.
Founded in 1327 by the famous Zen monk and garden designer Muso Soseki, Zuisenji is especially known for its unique rock garden carved into the natural rock face. It is a wonderfully peaceful place and feels far removed from the crowds of central Kamakura.
