The Web3 industry is developing rapidly. To gain social recognition for blockchain and cryptocurrency, and to oppose the marginalization and demonization of cryptocurrency, users of the anonymous social network Fugutoxic have spontaneously organized a cryptocurrency march. The march will take place on September 29 in Ueno, Tokyo.
The theme of the march is "Calling for industry self-regulation and urging governments to loosen regulations on the cryptocurrency industry."
This will be the first time cryptocurrency practitioners collectively speak out. The aim is to legitimize the community and communicate the importance of cryptocurrency in the future of the internet. It is a progressive technology that breaks centralized monopolies, and practitioners are simply earning their rightful income through innovation.
September 29 has been designated by participants as Web3 Democracy March Day. Organizers have announced that "TokenFreedom" will first be held in Tokyo, with events to follow in major cities around the world. Notably, this date coincides with the day Binance founder Changpeng Zhao (CZ) regained his freedom.
This event is free, and everyone is welcome to bring signs or banners. Feel free to give speeches on the same theme, in Japanese or English. If you are a Web3 practitioner, feel free to join and promote your brand and logo.
We will gather on September 29, 2024, at 3:00 PM and start the march at 3:15 PM from Ueno Shinobazu Pond Yushima Exit. The march will take about 25 minutes, arriving at Takecho Park by 3:40 PM. Please be punctual for the 3:15 PM start time.
